The last stop on my “tower tour” with Hartshorne Plunkard architects Paul Alessandro and Tom Pope was Trio, RDM Development’s project at 650 – 670 W Wayman St in the Fulton River District. HPA had to work around several obstacles while designing Trio, from the train tracks to the north to the elevated stretch of Desplaines Street to the east.
Although HPA designed all of Trio as a condominium development, RDM is considering converting the completed but vacant tower to apartments.
