Designing your week: IIT prof presents "The Archeworks Papers"

YoChicago’s architecture journal, City spaces, highlights a couple of events exploring urban architecture and development:

Illinois Institute of Technology professor Ben Nicholson will sign books at a reception for “The Archeworks Papers” at 6 p.m. on Wednesday April 12 at Archeworks, 625 N Kingsbury St. The event is free, and you can RSVP online.

John Wasik will discuss and sign his latest book, “The Merchant of Power: Sam Insull, Thomas Edison, and the Creation of the Modern Metropolis” at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday April 12 at the Harold Washington Library’s Chicago Authors Room. The book chronicles how Sam Insull’s invension of the power grid helped create the modern metropolis.
