Matt Garrison of Coldwell Banker’s Matt Garrison Group recently launched CondoShark.com, which collects the details of big price cuts on homes in Chicago’s most popular neighborhoods. Here are just three recent samples from River North, South Loop, and West Loop:

Unit #3801 at 200 North Dearborn, 200 N Dearborn St: three bedrooms, three baths, 1,800 square feet, two garage spots; was $1,250,000, now $759,000.

Unit #6001 at One Museum Park (above), 1211 S Prairie Ave: three bedrooms, three baths, 2,924 square feet, three garage spots; was $4,770,500, now $2,740,500.

Unit #1210 at R+D659, 659 W Randolph St: one bedroom, one bath, one garage spot; was $277,000, now $201,000.

I went to a friend’s place at rd659 last night. Very nice place. With the current pricing point there, i wonder why it’s not sold out yet!
the monthly payment for each month is way lower than the rental fee around the area.
