East Garfield Park's new horizons

Public gardens are sources of pride for many communities, and East Garfield Park is no exception. During our video tour, East Garfield Park New Communities Director Mike Tomas had us pull over near the corner of Central Park Avenue and Van Buren Street to check out the New Horizons Garden, a lush space filled with flowers and vegetables, and a recently completed mural overlooking the lot.
