Earlier this week, Joe Zekas and I wound our way through a few streets in Bucktown, searching for FOR RENT signs. As you saw yesterday, we found eight homes in a short period of time. In this second part of our brief drive, we found another five properties with signage.
In just over half an hour, we found 17 Bucktown properties for rent, either advertising themselves by signage or through listings on the MLS. Surely that’s a lot more than we could have found if we’d spent the same amount of time on Craigslist, wading through thousands of bait-and-switch ads from rental services.
