During our visit to Lincoln Square on Tuesday, Joe and I passed by Fountain View, which is located at 2326 W Giddings St, to see if any of the first-floor commercial space had been leased. There, we found a sign on one of the units for a shop called Marbles the Brain Store, and although new window frames had been installed on some of the other windows, the windows were still boarded up with plywood.
Yesterday, I emailed Terra Firma principal Brad Leibov to check the status on the other commercial units. Leibov responds that a pair of businesses from chef / restaurateur Debbie Sharpe, The Goddess and Grocer and Feast Restaurant and Bar, are scheduled to open later this year, which will leave just one unoccupied commercial unit on the side facing Giddings Plaza.
“We’re completing the installation of the operable storefront windows now and expect to turn over the space to the tenant within the next month,” Leibov writes.
As for sales, Leibov says 13 of Fountain View’s 18 condos have been sold. All of the three-bedrooms have been sold already, and Leibov says just a handful of two-bedrooms remain on the market.
