As sales at The Thrush Companies‘ 740 Fulton hit 80 percent, New Homes Magazine‘s Dan Schuyler considers the impact the 14-story high-rise will have on the Fulton Street area, and the impact the street has on the new housing rolling in.
“Fulton Street is going right off the charts,” [David] Chase, [president and CEO of The Thrush Companies] says, referring to the influx of art galleries, top-flight eateries and swank nightclubs, which have been moving next door to Fulton Street’s wholesale purveyors of meat and produce. It’s a combination with a distinctly urban flavor that frequently draws comparisons to SoHo in New York.
