I remember when, after a years-long zoning battle, developer Herb Rosenthal (a former legal client) proposed building a high-rise mausoleum in the 1400 block of Lake Shore Drive. The locals backed off and allowed Herb to build his high-rise condos, recognizing that he was unhinged-enough to build the alternative. Perhaps this group pirated the idea from Herb. IP,
