Good Ol’ Santa visits Koenig & Strey’s Winnetka office

by sponsored post on 12/20/12

Koenig & Strey‘s Winnetka office ran an immensely successful Toys for Tots drive this holiday season. Donors, many of them daily repeaters, and almost all of them anonymous, gave gifts that would be welcomed in the most affluent households in the community.

On Sunday, December 17, Koenig & Strey agents gathered at the office to greet Good Ol’ Santa and share the spirit of giving with anyone who stopped by with their children. One fascinating aspect of the event was just how modest were the requests that children expressed to Santa in one of the North Shore’s wealthiest communities.

Good Ol’ Santa is Tony Mitchell, a home inspector who grows a beard, dons a red suit and inspects only chimneys at this time of year.

Mary Ellen Tainer, who manages Koenig & Strey’s Winnetka office, is our host in the sponsored video.
