Halsted Flats, the new 269-unit apartment building under construction at 3740 N Halsted in Lake View, has topped out at 15 stories.
The building will include 276 parking spaces and nearly 11,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. A third-floor roof deck will have an outdoor pool, fire pit, hot tub, seating areas and a dog run. There will be additional resident amenities, including a fitness center, on the third floor.
The location is a short walk from Wrigley Field. Halsted Flats’ Facebook page promises that “pre-leasing info” will be available in November for one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.
When Halsted Flats is complete, it will be the first new full-amenity rental high-rise to open in Lake View in more than 25 years.
