Our last look at Vetro drew several comments along the lines of Sam’s: “it’s certainly ‘bold’ relative to the low bar that has been set in the South Loop.” Now that workers have reached the 31st and final floor and glass is going up on the tower, we thought we’d pay another visit to the Roszak / ADC development. Anyone’s socks getting knocked off? We’re definitely anxious to see what kind of flair the illuminated base and cap add to the building, but we might be waiting a while. Sales at the 232-unit Vetro, located at 611 S Wells St, are at about 53 percent, according to sales manager Michael Phocas. Remaining condos are priced from the $200s to the $990s.
