Some of you may have seen ads running in Pioneer Press’ North Shore papers – and perhaps elsewhere – that prominently attribute the following statement about @properties Web site to me: “The interface is straightforward and easy to use.”
The quote, in fact, is from a post by Erik Stonikas, who served a brief stint with YoChicago.
Peter Olesker, an executive at @properties, complimented Erik by name on the review from which the quote was taken in a comment at YoChicago, making clear that @properties was aware of its source.
Several of my staff heard my primary reaction to the @properties Web revamp at the time of Erik’s review: portions of the site appear to have been written by a learning-disabled 6th grader.
I hereby authorize @properties to quote me accurately in any future advertising.
