Immigration rally draws massive turnout, mixed coverage online

Estimates are that anywhere from 400,000 to well over half a million marchers gathered in downtown Chicago yesterday to lobby for a kinder, gentler version of immigration reform. Given the size of the city, that’s an astounding turnout. The Sun-Times gave the story its due, with a nice package of stories above the fold. The space the Tribune devoted online seemed wan by comparison. But you might learn the most about yesterday’s rally at Flickr, where you can see the above photo by Artamnesia and hundreds more.
