Introducing Wilmette's Kenilworth Gardens

Kenilworth Gardens is the area bounded on the east by Ridge, on the south (approximately) by Lake, on the north by the Indian Hill Club, and on the west by Hunter or Illinois, depending on who you ask.

Taylor Lindstrom has lived in Kenilworth Gardens for more than a dozen years, and is raising her two children there. She’s also a real estate agent with Prudential Rubloff and has worked with many buyers and sellers in the neighborhood over the years.

The video above is the first of a series that offers an informative look at real estate and how life’s lived in the Kenilworth Gardens neighborhood in Wilmette — an area that’s been immensely popular with young families due to its location, housing stock and schools.

The first two videos on this playlist at YouTube focus on Kenilworth Gardens’ location and amenities. In parts 3 and 4 Taylor and I drive around the neighborhood, chatting about real estate prices, rents and housing styles. Our fifth part doubles back to lifestyle issues. And, finally, we meet one of the neighbors who organize the annual Thornwood Park Concert and picnic.

If you want a fabulous way to learn more about Kenilworth Gardens and meet its residents, head up to Thornwood Park in Wilmette on July 11, from 2 to 8 p.m. for the concert. There’s no charge, but donations are appreciated, since the neighbors pick up the cost of the concert.
