Invsco debuts Lakeview on Lincoln Park

American Invsco has announced the debut of a long-awaited project in the heart of Lincoln Park that the developer promises will be the height of luxury in Chicago.

How much buzz surrounds the new development? The first real peek, for real estate brokers only, isn’t until Feb. 26 and already 30 percent of units at “the Lakeview on Lincoln Park” have been sold.

The project comprises three boutique condo buildings designed by architect Lucien Lagrange with a vintage European look. The adjoining buildings vary from 22 to 38 stories, with a total of 178 units. Each has a three-story limestone base and a masonry exterior.

The units will spare no luxury, according to American Invsco, and range from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet, with prices from $4 million to $10 million.

The location, however, is perhaps the project’s greatest advantage. The three-acre site, former home of Columbus Hospital, will be one of Chicago’s premiere addresses, at 2520 N. Lakeview. The posh street has seen no new development in more than 30 years, according to Nicholas Gouletas, CEO of American Invsco.
