We’ve written before about a rental service bedbug by the name of Ginger Summers who litters Craigslist with 1,000s of ads.
A number of those ads are bait-and-switch come-ons touting rents that simply don’t exist, as you’ll discover if you’re foolish enough to contact Rent Proactive’s Ginger Summers.
Ginger Summers is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR), an organization whose Code of Ethics purportedly bars that kind of conduct.
Given the wholesale scale on which its members routinely lie on Craigslist, is it any wonder that many consumers scoff at CAR’s Code of Ethics as a hoax on the public, and treat Ginger Summers as the poster child for CAR’s ethical standards?
