Lincoln Point passes 75% sold

Sales have passed the 75 percent mark at Lincoln Point, a 60-unit condominium development under construction at 5900 N. Lincoln, on the Northwest Side.
The first 30-unit phase has sold out and is under construction, while the second phase is half sold, according to Richard Lettvin, president of Lettvin Development Corp.

Prices start in the $230s for a one-bedroom with study and 1.5 baths and in the $270s for a two-bedroom with two baths. Three-bedroom two-bath condos are priced from the $370s. All units include a heated parking space and heated walk-in storage.

Although this stretch of Lincoln once was known primarily for its seedy motels, the strip is being rejuvenated, and location has become one of the project’s main draws, Lettvin said.

“The timing for the start of construction at Lincoln Point couldn’t be better,” Lettvin said. “Construction of our development dovetails with the city’s plan to remove many motels along Lincoln Avenue between Foster and Devon. With both residential and commercial growth moving together in an organized fashion, it is likely that Peterson Woods soon will become Chicago’s next exciting neighborhood.”
