I don’t often see Web sites making the jump to print, but Jenny Ames‘ Live and Play in Chicago has done just that.
During our sit-down at Coldwell Banker’s Gold Coast office last month, Jenny told me that she was preparing a magazine version of her blog. This week she passed along a link to an electronic version of the first issue, cover-dated Fall / Winter 2009.
The 84-page magazine has sections on single-family homes, land, luxury rentals, townhomes, co-ops, and condominiums, and features on staging, neighborhoods, landscape architecture, home security, luxury residential development, buildings, the Chicago market, resort homes, and her realty team.
I’m sure copies will be available at two events Ames is holding at Ann Sather, 909 W Belmont Ave, next week. Ames, Guaranteed Rate Vice President Leslie Struthers, home inspector Alex Ratarac, and attorney Leo Aubel will talk about the home buying process at 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to her blog. Ames, Struthers, Ratarac, and home stager Bethany Souza will focus on tips for home sellers during the second event, scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday.
