It appears that @properties is handling sales at Motor Row Lofts these days, something I didn’t realize when I talked to developer Paul Zucker earlier this week. Instead, I found out about the change yesterday morning, when my inbox was flooded with numerous copies of an e-blast advertising new discounts at the South Loop development.
Zucker mentioned this week that he was gearing up for a big push to sell the 27 remaining lofts at 2301 – 2315 S Michigan Ave, and these discounts appear to be a part of that push. These e-mails contain a “coupon” good for a $30,000 discount on any of the one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, which are typically priced from the $230s to the $650s. (In case you haven’t handed out your e-mail address to @properties, I noticed that the coupon ran with Motor Row Lofts’ ad in the winter issue of New Homes, which we received from the printer yesterday afternoon.)
I mentioned Wednesday that Motor Row Lofts has also qualified for Illinois’ tax freeze program, through which buyers could save $3,900 to $11,000 in annual tax savings over a 10-year period, depending on the unit.
