Zillow recently released its Quarterly Home Value Reports for the first quarter of 2007.
Values in the Chicago area (Excel file) showed a wide range of results. Among northern suburbs, for example, Glenview housing values appreciated 9.99% from Q1 2006 to Q1 2007, while Lake Bluff values declined 7.28% over the same period.
Another reminder that real estate is a very local proposition.
