McCormick Rowhouses Landmark District, Lincoln Park, Chicago

The homes in the district originally provided rental income for the McCormick Theological Seminary. When the seminary was sold to DePaul University the rowhouses passed into private ownership.

The district was built in a simplified Queen Anne style in the late 1880s and is, according to the Chicago Landmarks Commission, “a fine example of late 19th century residential architecture and planning.”
