My pirate sense is tingling. My memory tells me Joe Zekas had racial epithets or some such silliness yelled at him on this block.
It is certainly south side. North of Hyde Park. South of Bronzeville. Nothing in Woodlawn is still this intact or glorious. So the answer is Kenwood.
Send the YoChicago t-shirt and Yo Yo to PaulJ. Cross out the “Chicago” though and write in “Paris”.
IPpy, we should clear this blight and put in some parking podiums and thousands of new “units/product!” Think of the tax revenue.
