New apartment tower slated for summer start at Clark and Division

The website for the development that will replace the Jewel-Osco store at Clark and Division is announcing that construction is expected to start this summer.

The new development will include a 35-story, 390-unit apartment building atop a new Jewel-Osco.

According to the development’s website, the new Jewel-Osco is expected to open 14 to 16 months after the start of construction, and occupancy of the apartment tower will begin 24 months after the start of construction.
