New apartments slated for River North

by Joe Zekas on 10/18/12

Crain’s Chicago Real Estate Daily is reporting that Vancouver-based Onni Group has acquired two River North sites and plans to develop apartments on them.

The sites are at 353 W Grand Ave, pictured above, and 750 N Hudson, below.

We’ve added these developments to our list of new downtown apartment projects, where we’re currently tracking more than 14,000 apartments in various stages of development.

Two projects are currently underway in River North and scheduled to deliver units next year: the 450-unit Hubbard Place, 360 W Hubbard, and the 427-unit AMLI River North, 71 W Hubbard.

750 N Hudson was supposed to be the site for Hudson Tower almost 10 years ago. If a high-rise does get build, the Domain Lofts can say-bye-bye to a good chunk of their SE views.
