New City apartments are near old city attractions

Residents at the new New City apartments will have great new dining, shopping and entertainment options on-site in the New City mega-development.

New City’s attractions will include an 82,000 square foot Mariano’s, ArcLight Cinemas, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kings Bowl America, Z Gallerie, Yard House, Adobe Gila’s,Earl’s Kitchen and Good Stuff Eatery.

New City residents have a short walk off-site to the almost overwhelming number of shopping, dining, drinking and entertainment venues along the Clybourn Corridor.


Casual venues steps from New City include Sully’s House and Burger Bar Chicago. Dive bar aficionados can head around the corner to Weeds and join the ongoing debate over whether it’s a true dive bar.

Steppenwolf and Royal George theatres are a short walk north of New City.

The CTA Red Line stop at North Avenue is a block from the building. The #8 Halsted bus stops outside the building and is a direct connection to Lincoln Park, Lakeview, River West, Fulton River District and West Loop restaurant and nightlife clusters and to the UIC campus. The #72 North Avenue bus travels east to Old Town, Lincoln Park and the beach and west to Bucktown, Wicker Park and the Blue Line to O’Hare.
