Bucktown Station ready for occupancy

Bucktown Station

We snapped this photo of the recently completed Bucktown Station condo development during our tour of Wicker Park and Bucktown yesterday. The condos are ready for immediate occupancy and four of the elevator building’s 15 units have been sold, according to Eric Plotkin of the Matt Garrison Group (although it doesn’t look like that fourth-floor balcony has gotten a guard rail yet).

Bucktown StationIt also looks like they strayed from the original plan with the sign at the corner of Winnebago and Western avenues.

Plotkin emphasized the large, split-floor plans and cheap assessments (between $75 and $150), and he says that garage parking that before was being offered for $30,000 is now included for free.

That incentive seems somewhat odd, considering that Paramount Homes presented Bucktown Station as a “Transit Oriented Development” because of its proximity to the Western Blue Line station, but it probably looks a little bit more attractive after this morning’s excitement on the Blue Line.

Layouts and price points range from two-bedroom / two-bath units listed in the $370s to three-bedroom / three-bath units listed from the $540s to the $590s.
