We don’t have the complete dish on this development yet, but it seems safe to assume that the developer was a little optimistic in advertising fall occupancy for “El Pacifico,” a condo project named for the restaurant that sits on the site, at 1358 W Belmont Ave.
The rendering on the site signage shows a sparkling new El Pacifico Restaurant on the ground floor of the new-construction condo building, but no demolition work appears to be underway.
So those of you who love the smell of enchiladas, fajitas and camarones empanizados in your homes, will just have to wait. According to the sign, however, the development is 50 percent sold. Units will have two or three bedrooms and two baths, priced from the mid-$500s.
Features include hardwood floors, fireplaces and decks. Garage parking is available. We’ll post on this project again once we get the full scoop.
