Watch out: Green is coming to Lake View.
Helios Realty is developing a new-construction luxury building at 2800 N Lincoln Ave in Lake View. Planned for the high-profile intersection of Lincoln, Racine and Diversey avenues, the nine-unit development boasts little more than a “coming soon” Web site and a sign planted near the street right now. A little snooping reveals that Kirk Fox, a broker with Helios Realty, is marketing the luxury condos. According to Fox’s Web site, the homes will feature geothermal heating and cooling, solar panels and a green roof. An after-action report from the South Lakeview Neighbors February meeting noted that the project will seek Silver-level LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
