Mostly one-bedrooms left at Prairie Pointe

Prairie Pointe

Prairie Pointe at Central Station, Gammonley Group‘s 24-story high-rise at 1600 S Prairie Ave, has about a dozen units left available, according to Emma Kinnison, a sales representative for the developer.

Construction wrapped up in 2006, and Yo’s summer 2007 check-in found the building 88 percent sold. Gammonley has polished that number a little with some recent sales, and two model units are open to help buyers visualize their new home.

I spoke with Kinnison to get the latest facts and figures for Prairie Pointe’s remaining condos:

  • 8 one-bedroom units (900 to 1,100 square feet) from the $380s
  • 1 one-bedroom-plus-den unit for $553,000
  • 2 two-bedrooms from the $450s
  • 1 2,700-square-foot penthouse unit with a 1,500-square-foot terrace for $1.8 million

All the homes come with free parking (a $35,000 value, according to Kinnison) and feature a fireplace and a balcony.
