L Properties is developing and @properties is marketing a new condo conversion called North Edge Condominiums, aptly located on the edge of Uptown and Edgewater. Rumor also has it The Edge is looking into a pied a terre at the place. Okay, just kidding. The courtyard building, located at 1059 W Foster Ave, has 21 condos that are being sold in “current condition” or with upgrades to things like new hardwood floors, stainless appliances, granite and carpeting. All units already have central air conditioning and juliet balconies. Base prices on the one- and two-bedroom condos start in the $140s.
