Down to a dozen at Armitage Square

Armitage SquareArmitage Square really deserves another construction update, given the amount of progress that builders had made when Andy visited last summer. Until I make my way over to Logan Square, you’ll have to settle for a sales update for this project.

According to Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate associate Jim Murrin, all but 12 of the 50 condos at 2738 W Armitage Ave have sold. Seven different floor plans are still available among those dozen remaining units, including two-bedroom / two-baths starting in the $290s, three-bedroom / two-baths starting in the $330s, and three-bedroom / two bath penthouses priced in the $490s.

Standard finishes include stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, hardwood floors and marble baths. The building has a common roof deck, and penthouses feature their own private decks.

Prices back in July ranged from the $240s to the $520s, so Pitch Development has either sold out of its highest and lowest priced homes, or it has tightened its price range. The price of parking appears to have gone up slightly – last year, a spot in Armitage Square’s heated garage cost $22,900, but Murrin says the spaces are now selling for $25,000 apiece.

As an incentive, Pitch is offering financing 1.5 percent below the market rate, according to Koenig & Strey’s Web site.
