The first phase of C/A 23, a pair of condo buildings planned in the West Loop, was about 20 percent sold at the end of May, according to Geoffrey Ruttenberg, principal and CEO of The Brixton Group, which is developing the project. Sales launched the third week in April.

The development, 23 N Aberdeen St, will have 48 condos in twin five-story buildings that face away from each other, one towards Carpenter Street and the other towards Aberdeen Street. A landscaped courtyard will separate the two buildings. The first phase comprises one 24-unit building.

The condos, designed by FitzGerald Associates Architects, will range from 1,900 to 4,000 square feet, with two to four bedrooms and ceiling heights of 11 to 18 feet. Elevators will open directly into each unit. Prices range from the $660s to $1.6 million, according to Ruttenberg.
