An “Open House” banner alongside “Posted: Keep Out” and “Beware of Dog” signs seems so contradictory that they all ought to cancel each other out.
However, broker and developer Luke Kelly says Sunday open houses are ongoing at 2444 W Diversey Ave, and he’s willing to show buyers around the furnished model during the week as well.
Since Kelly first started marketing 2444 Diversey back in February, only one penthouse has sold, and there are still four two-bedroom condos, two four-bedroom duplexes and one penthouse available.
In keeping with current trends, Kelly says he’s making most of his upgrades standard, so most of the units will be wired for surround sound, and they’ll come with Viking stoves and refrigerators and steam showers.
Every unit comes with a private balcony in the back, the penthouse has a 400 square-foot rooftop deck, and all of them have wood-burning fireplaces. Prices start in the $280s for the two-bedroom / two-bath units and top out in the low $500s for the four-bedroom / three-bath duplexes.
