Trump is inviting you back to his penthouse

Trump TowerSpeaking of the human hairdo, Donald Trump, as we were a little earlier today… Remember a while back how Trump announced that he planned to keep the top-floor penthouse of Trump International Hotel & Tower all to himself and his latest Eastern bloc former model-wife? At the time, Yo’s truly speculated that even The Donald – despite his obvious knack for branding and ability to make people part with wads of cash for overpriced merchandize – couldn’t shift a $28 million penthouse in the Windy City, and that he was only snapping up the penthouse to save face because he couldn’t find a buyer.

It turns out that said penthouse, a whopping 14,000-square-foot pad, is still available to anyone willing to stump up the cash. Tere Proctor, director of sales and marketing for Trump, 401 N Wabash Ave, said Friday that she was authorized to sell it if a buyer came along.

What’s the bet that we’ll soon see a couple of buyer incentives thrown in too, or perhaps a price drop?

Yo wants to know – what do you think is a realistic price for a penthouse on the 89th floor of a River North high-rise? The unit boasts snazzy finishes, 16-foot ceiling heights and pretty sweet views. What kind of incentives would The Donald have to dangle in front of you to pique your interest?
