Northfield Properties, Inc. brings the ArmitEDGE(their spelling and capitalization, not ours), a new 24-unit condo development, to 3021 W Armitage Ave in Logan Square. The building, designed by DesignBridge, Ltd. is advertised as being “nestled between Bucktown and Logan Square,” but anything nestled between California and Kedzie on Armitage is clearly Logan Square in our book.
Each of the two- or three-bedroom units has a private balcony, and there is also a rooftop deck for common use. Units have nine- or 10-foot ceilings, marble fireplaces, marble bathrooms, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Indoor parking is available for each unit, and prices start in the $290s.
Logan Square seems to have graduated from a market of mostly conversions to a spate of fairly big new-construction projects, which makes us wonder why marketers still feel the need to pretend they’re selling in Bucktown. Uptown has become “Uptown” once again, why not Logan Square?
