We oooh-ed and ahhh-ed over Ranquist Development’s 156 West Superior in River North; now the developer is back with a matching pair of six-unit condo buildings across the street from one another at 2154 and 2157 W Division St in Wicker Park. Like the 11-unit development on Superior, the Division Street buildings are strikingly modern with clean lines and lots of glass. They were designed by Chicago’s Studio Dwell Architects, which worked with the Miller / Hull Partnership in designing 156 W Superior.
According to the development brochure, units have floor-to-ceiling glass “interrupted by slender stained cedar walls that extend from the exterior to the interior of the units.” The condos also have 10-foot ceiling heights, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, white oak floors and large kitchen islands. Both buildings also show plans for rooftop terraces, ground-level retail space and garage parking.

The condos have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and prices start in the $550s.
