We got all excited last Friday when we saw grand opening signs at The Residences at the Vic – but it turned out just the garage was opening, to coincide with opening day at Wrigley. Last night, we stopped by the actual grand opening, at 3140 N Sheffield Ave in Lake View, and snapped a few pictures.
The seven-story, 51-unit building, from developer Joseph Freed and Associates, has two- and three-bedroom condos starting in the low $500s. The most expensive unit, a three-bedroom penthouse with a wrap-around terrace, is going for $1.2 million. Underground heated parking is included. The project is more than 60 percent sold, according to flyers handed out at the opening, and immediate deliveries are available.
