Yesterday we told you about Ranquist Development and Studio Dwell Architects‘ plans for twin Wicker Park condo buildings. The team also has a couple of projects cooking in Lincoln Park.
The modern, brick-and-metal condo building planned for 1721 N Sheffield Ave will have six condos with two or three bedrooms. Units will have white oak flooring, a gas fireplace with a floating concrete hearth, nine-foot ceiling heights, “European-style” kitchens with stainless steel appliances and a cantilevered breakfast bar. Master bathrooms have full-height limestone walls. The development brochure has some great pictures of the sleek interior finishes.
Each unit will have a landscaped outdoor terrace, and the top two units are duplexes with rooftop decks. The two lower condo units will also have ceiling heights of 19 feet in their “great” rooms. Prices range from the $430s to the $790s.
Ranquist also is planning a seven-unit condo building for 1750 N Clybourn Ave with a Studio Dwell design. We’ll let you know more about that one as details become available, but we’re guessing the words “sleek” and “modern” will be peppered throughout that description as well.
