The e-mail newsletter from 35th Ward Alderman Rey Colón just announced that 1- and 2-bedroom units at Logan Square‘s new Hairpin Lofts will be available for occupancy in July.
The 48,100 square foot former Morris B. Sachs Building, at 2800 N Milwaukee Ave, has been converted into retail space, a community arts center and 28 loft-style market rate and affordable lofts.
The building is touted as “LEED Certified Eco-Friendly Green Design.” Amenities include exercise and community rooms, storage spaces and, given that it’s in Logan Square, a bike room.
