Crain’s reports today that Mutual Bank has slapped Cataldo / Marovitz Group with an $8.4 million foreclosure lawsuit over the 27-unit Park Kingsbury Luxury Lofts in River North. The development’s broker was insisting as recently as last week that the lofts were still a go, but according to an Appraisal Research Counselors report cited in the the Crain’s article, Cataldo / Marovitz canceled the project back in January.
