ParkView and the scene at River East

I’ve never been inside that Fox and Obel but based on this video I have to agree with you that it is much larger than it appears on the outside

In the many times I have visited this park it has been a bit quiet. Given Chicago’s cold winters I gather a prime time for a park like this is the summer. One can’t overestimate the importance of shading in parks, in if I were to do anything differently with this space it would be to plant more trees

Since the park is also a “green roof” for the parking garage, I’m guessing there’s a limit to what can be done with trees – especially shade trees.
