Englewood is frequently referred to as a “sick” community, a reference to actual health problems ranging from lead contamination to poor nutrition, as well as a host of urban ills that plagues the neighborhood. We sat down with Jean Carter-Hill, co-founder and executive director of Imagine Englewood If, to discuss life in Englewood and her group’s efforts to improve its quality.
