Pet-friendlier new West Loop apartments

Chicago has become a city of pet lovers in recent years and new apartment buildings have rushed to welcome pet owners by including a dog run in their amenities package.

Circa 922, a new full-amenity building in the West Loop, will have an outdoor dog run and an unusual pet-pampering bonus: an indoor dog grooming station.

When the weather improves Circa 922’s four-legged residents will want to head for Mary Bartelme Park, two short blocks south of the building.

Park space is scarce in the West Loop, so it’s no surprise that the dog-friendly area drew a canine crowd to Mary Bartelme at the time of YoChicago’s video visit, above, just days before the park’s official grand opening four years ago.

The park’s green space is a magnet for non-pet owners as well.

Circa 922 is a boutique full-amenity building in a steps-to-everything location. The first residents will be moving into Circa 922 in mid-January of 2015. Renters can take advantage of the staged delivery schedule for new buildings to sign a lease now and lock in some of Circa 922’s most desirable high-floor units for an April, 2015 move-in.

Circa 922 is currently offering hardhat tours that will include a look at the dramatic views from the building’s higher floors. The number of participants in each hardhat tour is limited. Contact the leasing office at 312-455-992 to reserve a slot on one of the tours and to inquire about current leasing incentives.

Apartments are also available for immediate occupancy in the lofts adjacent to Circa 922. The lofts will share amenities with the new building.
