Phase II construction underway at Madison and Aberdeen

The shells of new 9- and 18-unit apartment buildings at the northeast and northwest corners of Madison and Aberdeen are nearly complete. The buildings are the first phase of a project being developed in the West Loop by Michigan Avenue Real Estate Group.

The site at 26 N Aberdeen formerly occupied by Chicago Truck Leasing has been cleared and site prep is underway for Phase II of the development, two four-story buildings with 54 additional units. According to Crain’s, most of the apartments will have two bedrooms and two baths.

A bit further west, pilings are being driven for the foundation of the 8-story, 216-unit Madison on Racine apartments.

You can see all of the proposed and active West Loop apartment projects on our at-a-glance list.
