Planned Property conducts an annual food drive for the benefit of Chicago’s Lakeview Pantry, 3831 N Broadway.
The Lakeview Pantry recently approached Planned Property to conduct a cereal drive among the firm’s many Lake View residents. You can see the first week’s results in this video.
Chicago’s Lake View neighborhood is best known as a playground for the young and affluent, but it’s also home to many families and elderly citizens, some of whom need periodic help. The price of cereal has rocketed up in recent years, and starting the day with a nutritional breakfast can be a challenge.
Lakeview Pantry has also identified shelf-stable fruit juice, canned tuna and tomato sauce as priority donations. There’s also a need for volunteer help.
