Within the past few days we’ve stopped by a few of the many sites where new apartments are under construction in downtown Chicago.
The photo above is from Arkadia, a 33-story, 350-unit tower at 765 W Adams in the West Loop. In the background you can see the tower crane for Catalyst, 630 W Washington. The 19-story, 223 unit building is nearly topped out.
Caisson drilling is underway for 367 apartments in a 35-story tower at 845 N State St.
In the photo above you’re looking at the base of the tower crane for 212 W Illinois, 26 stories, 189 apartments in River North.
It’s only about two-thirds of the way to its full 52-story height, but 435 North Park Dr is already a major presence in Streeterville. The building will have a Loews Hotel and 398 apartments.
