Reality TV show Desperate Landscapes is casting in Chicago

by Joe Zekas on 3/5/13

The front yard pictured above was featured on last season’s Desperate Landscapes. If it resembles your yard, you have a shot at being featured in an upcoming episode. From yesterday morning’s email:

The producers of DIY Network’s hit series, “Desperate Landscapes” are coming to Chicago and are looking to take tragic front yards from worst on the block … to first!!

Licensed Contractor and series host Jason Cameron is bringing his construction and landscape team to Chicago in July and producers are issuing an urgent casting call for Chicago area homeowners.

In just 8 hours, Jason and his team transforms an entire front landscape from the eyesore of the neighborhood to an amazing lush green front yard.

The producers are looking for homeowners who:

- Have the worst front landscape in their neighborhood
- Are fun, funky, personable and would love being on TV!
- Are surrounded by neighbors who love them … but hate their landscape
- Have an interesting job in the Chicago area

Chicago homeowners need to go to jaytv.net to fill out an application. The deadline is April 15th.

Amber,

Please note that you need to fill out an application at the website we linked in the post. Making a pitch here isn’t going to get you on the show.
