Reduced prices, upgraded finishes at West Loop’s Van Buren Lofts

If you’ve been around downtown Chicago recently you’ve probably seen a black-and-white English bulldog barking about a “bloody great deal” and “deliciously fancy lofts” in the West Loop.

The ads are from the new development team that took over Van Buren Lofts earlier this year and began finishing the unsold units. They hired a designer, and opted for all new high-end finishes, including a Bosch appliance package “typically found in homes selling at twice the price,” according to Christine Lutz of Garrison Partners, our tour guide in the sponsored video.

The CTA Blue Line stop at Racine is virtually at the front door of Van Buren Lofts. The Medical District complex is a few blocks to the west. A new Target is planned for a 4-acre site on the block east of Van Buren Lofts.

The remaining 2-bedroom lofts in the development are priced from under $190,000, parking included.
