Pullman rowhouse among winners of preservation award

A Pullman rowhouse we posted about not long ago has snagged a Chicago Landmark Award for Preservation Excellence. The property, at 605 E 107th St, is one of four homes in the historic Pullman neighborhood currently being renovated by Park Bank Initiatives, Inc, a nonprofit subsidiary of Park National Bank. The description of the project (.pdf) includes some striking before-and-after pictures.

An additional 20 properties won awards, including the Chicago Board of Trade Building (.pdf) and the Centaur Motor Company Showroom (.pdf).
