Coffee service is available in the colorful lobby. The building has a bike storage area. Covered and uncovered parking spaces are available on-site.

The location

Reside on North Park enjoys an attractive location in one of Chicago’s most charming and pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods, the Old Town Triangle.

The location is just north of the Gold Coast and Old Town, and a few short blocks from the 1,200-acre Lincoln Park, one of the greatest public spaces in America. The building’s location affords residents quick access to many of the most popular attractions in the park.

Shopping. Reside on North Park has good proximity to grocery shopping.

The nearest full-service grocery store, two short blocks east of the building, is Treasure Island, which bills itself as “America’s most European supermarket.” A large new Mariano’s is nearing completion in the sprawling New City development, about a half-mile west.

From early May to late October, more than 50 farmers draw Wednesday and Saturday morning crowds to the Green City Market in the park.

There’s a smattering of boutiques and other retailing along Wells St, but retail access isn’t one of the property’s strong suits. Oak Street‘s glamorous boutiques and Michigan Ave’s Magnificent Mile shops are about a mile south. The big-box stores of the Clybourn Corridor are three-quarters of a mile west..

Dining, nightlife, entertainment.
You’re not going to find the city’s hottest restaurants and bars near Reside on North Park, but the ones you will find offer plenty of variety and have satisfied generations of Chicagoans.

Long-time neighborhood favorites within a few minutes’ walk include Nookie’s, the Old Town Ale House, Marge’s and Twin Anchors.

Wells St, steps west of Reside on North Park, is packed with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.

Second City and Zanies comedy clubs are a short walk from Reside on North Park.

The Old Town Art Fair, one of the best in the country, draws a large crowd each year on the second weekend in June. The fair is a short block from Reside on North Park. The quality of the art isn’t as high at the Wells Street Art Festival, which takes place the same weekend, but the music is better and the crowd is younger.

Parks, recreation.
Lincoln Park has too many attractions to list.

Virtually every recreational opportunity you can imagine is easily accessible to Reside on North Park residents, from North Avenue Beach to a tranquil nature boardwalk to softball fields and volleyball courts – and a great free zoo.

Transportation. Reside on North Park residents have good access to public transportation.

The CTA Brown and Purple Line stop at Sedgwick is about a 6-minute walk.

The #37 bus on Sedgwick, a block west of the building, travels south to the Loop and north to DePaul University’s Lincoln Park campus. Several additional bus lines stop near the building and provide north – south and east – west access.

Taxi service is readily available on Wells St and on North Ave. Zipcar car-sharing locations and DIVVY bike stations are nearby.

Access to I-90/94 and the city’s expressway grid is inconvenient, and can be very time-consuming during peak hours due to congestion from the Clybourn Corridor retail cluster.
